This important county community gathering is to talk about the real-world impact of the proposed cuts to Medicaid and SNAP. These programs aren’t just lifelines for “someone else," they’re the pillars holding up our schools, hospitals, churches, local businesses, and emergency response systems.

The numbers in Delaware County tell a serious story:

• 185,556 people rely on Medicaid
   
• 27,380 seniors (60+) depend on it for care
   
• 81,745 kids and young adults (under 21) need it to stay healthy
   
• 118,541 rely on SNAP to put food on the table
   

More hospital closures. More families struggling. We cannot afford to lose these essential programs. This is your chance to ask questions, get informed, and stand shoulder-to-shoulder with neighbors who believe dignity should never be optional.
